	Camping la Croix du Vieux Pont is a fantastic French park giving you full privacy with its neat hedges. It is a fantastic site to wander around – meet the wild life along the riverside or the friendly ducklings in the grounds of the adjacent château. At the centre of the site there are two lakes for fishing and water sports, even a sandy man made beach by one of the lakes. The site also offers a fantastic pool complex and parks!

Camping la Croix du Vieux Pont is a fantastic French park giving you full privacy with its neat hedges. It is a fantastic site to wander around – meet the wild life along the riverside or the friendly ducklings in the grounds of the adjacent château. At the centre of the site there are two lakes for fishing which are fantastic!

There is even a sandy man made beach by one of the lakes. Its shores were a few meters further out by the time we left as we made so many moats, dams and castles! It was such a shame the maintenance guy made us rake it all back before we left - I think he was fed up with the extra work every few days.

The site also offers a fantastic pool complex and parks and with fabulous first class facilities there is no need to even go off site! But if you do there are many local towns and villages to visit. There is a village within cycling distance not far from the campsite (5-10 minute cycle) with emergency services and a good shop (good enough for your weekly shop) - the local scenery is fantastic.

A sunny terrace (right) overlooks the fantastic pool complex – with a superb heated indoor pool, outdoor pools and waterslides. The pool complex is warm and lots of fun for all!

We have personally visited this site and its great, and the onsite beach is fabulous! The only few downsides are the weather - while on our stay every other day there would be torrential rains (no wonder there are so many lakes). One day it rained so much all the roads had turned to streams and there was a stream through our tent! That night it was a long, but worthwhile, walk to the takeaway in our wellys.
