Camping Les Amiaux is a large campsite with a large pool complex including an indoor pool, 3 outdoor pools and 5 different slides! With tennis courts and the beach a 5 minute cycle ride away - its hard to get bored here!

The sunny weather along with the lively bar, games area and children's football/basketball court makes this site great for both children and adults.

Camping Les Amiaux is a large campsite with a large pool complex including an indoor pool, 3 outdoor pools and 5 different slides!

The sunny weather along with the lively bar, games area, tennis courts and children's football/basketball court makes this site great for both children and adults. Unfortunately, there isn't any good parks at this campsite, there is no swings or roundabouts - meaning elder children have to play elsewhere. There is only slides and a small climbing frame for toddlers.

The onsite mini golf is really old and not worth to pay for. It seems to not be in use anymore as the grass around it isn't cut and there are no signs showing costs etc. There is table tennis tables but you need to bring/buy your own ball and rackets.

Plage de la Daviere, the beach, has miles of sandy coastline separated from the campsite by sand dunes and woods. The beach is just a 5 minute cycle ride along a cycle path or a 15 minute walk away down sandy trails in the woods. There are loads of interesting cycle paths in this area of Vendee so its a good thing the campsite has a bike hire! It would be criminal to come here and not test out the cycle routes; wether your going to the beach, or the nearby towns - the cycle paths take you there.

The popular and lively town of St Jean de Monts is just 2.5 miles from the campsite which you can drive to or take the cycle paths which takes around 20 minutes. St Jean de Monts has loads of shops, restaurants and cafes for you to go to, whether its day, or night. In the other direction, around a 25 minute cycle ride away - the town of Notre Dame de Monts has top bars, restaurants and beaches for you to go to. There is less shops here but the markets and scenic town centre make up for it.

As well as the lively nearby towns, there is a small scenic village called Sallertaine just 10 miles away. The village has a church, a hairdressers, a cafe, a school and beautiful gardens full of ponds and modern art which overviews the church. If you like to relax and sit down enjoying a view - this is a perfect little village to go to.
